Since news of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne and Tom Girardi's marriage disintegrating broke last week, rumors have been popping up left and right about the reason behind the end of their 21-year marital streak. Meanwhile, Erika and Tom have maintained their silence.
Just yesterday, fans and onlookers were speculating as to whether or not Erika was involved with her former Dancing With The Stars dance partner, the very attractive Gleb Savchenko, who also announced that he and wife Elena Samodanova would be splitting up just last week.
Samodanova spoke to press and revealed that Gleb's infidelities were to blame for the marriage ending, saying that, “no wife should ever stand by and watch while another woman gifts her husband expensive presents, lures him out to dinners and seduces him at every turn”. This left many people wondering whether Samodanova was referring to the blonde bombshell of Beverly Hills.
Today, the story takes another wild turn as podcaster Zack Peter (of #NoFilter With Zack) claims that while Erika has nothing to do with the Gleb/Elena split, she is reportedly "hooking up with Scooter Braun". If that name rings a bell it is because he is the music executive who had a feud with none other than Taylor Swift. Braun had purchased old masters of TayTay's music and prevented her from performing those songs for several years, claiming them as his own. All around not a great reputation.
According to the podcast, Erika and Scooter met at a sex club in Los Angeles. This rumor was then reinforced by former RHOBH "friend of" Dana Wilkey (best remembered for her $25,000 sunglasses!). Wilkey posted a screenshot of her conversation with an unidentified person who claims that Braun and Erika have been together for a while, and that his wife knows!
There are also a ton of fans who believe that Swift's song "mad woman" on her new album folklore is about Braun, and it discusses his infidelities with the line, "The master of spin / Has a couple side flings / Good wives always know". Yikes.
Die-hard Real Housewives fans will remember the awkward moment during this last season's reunion when Erika revealed that Tom had not in fact gone to watch her on Broadway as she played Chicago's Roxy Hart, admittedly her biggest achievement to date. Could things have been going south for a while?
