
Maverick Carter has something special up his sleeve. The second season of his show Mavericks with Mav Carter is officially out today (May 8), boasting a roster of impressive guests that will sit down with the entrepreneur for introspective one-on-one conversations.
The SpringHill series, available on the SpringHill YouTube channel,ushers in the new season with Kelly Rowland hailing as its first guest in a new episode premiering at 1 p.m. EST. Other celebrities who will be making appearances throughout the season include Lil Wayne, Mario Carbone, Padma Lakshmi, and more.
“With this series, I have the privilege of sitting down with some of the most important leaders and changemakers of our time – people who are true mavericks in every sense of the word,” said Carter via press release. “I’m blessed to have these conversations with them because first and foremost, I’m curious about who they are and what they do. As they open up and share their stories, I’m listening and learning about them myself. It’s an incredible experience and something I’m very fortunate to get to do and share with everyone.”
Each episode of Mavericks With Mav Carter aims to “unveil the stories of those rewriting the rules and shaping the culture.” With Rowland as the premiere guest, viewers are able to catch several gems from the legendary singer-songwriter about her illustrious career.
“If your dreams don’t scare you, you’re not dreaming big enough,” the Destiny’s Child member says in an exclusive preview. “When I heard that quote, my mind was blown. I was like, ‘Why am I looking at those as if they’re unattainable?’ I looked at them for so long and watched those opportunities pass me by and it started to piss me off… I said it’s my turn.”
As a successful sports-marketing businessman and media personality, Maverick Carter has been busy over the last few years operating SpringHill Entertainment. The longtime friend and business partner of LeBron James was also an executive producer, alongside the NBA legend and Drake, of Hubert Davis’s 2022 documentary film Black Ice.
